Hair Questions...

How far in advance did you all book a stylist?  Also, for girls that had the stylist come to them, do you mind saying how much you paid?  I only have one quote so far, and it's $75 for the trial and then $55 day of.  But that's only if I go to the salon - it will be more if they come to me.  That sounds fairly reasonable to me, but I really have no idea! Thanks!

I used the same vendor for hair as the previous poster.  I actually think it was me who recommended her :-)I used Baltimore Bridal hair and all of her prices are listed on her website. She was one of my favorite vendors to work with.In regards to how far in advance to book, I think that depends on when you're getting married.  I didn't look at your bio so I don't know if you're getting married in peek wedding season or not.  I got married in May and booked my hair person in like January and had my trial in February. How quickly people book up really depends on so many different factors.  If you find someone you like who is available when you need them, just book them!  If you wait you run the risk of them no longer being available when you need them.

Also booked Baltimore Bridal Hair... she was one of the first I booked b/c I read lots of good reviews, and it was something easy to take off of my to-do list. I'm getting married in Nov and booked her probably in May.

I am booking my make-up artist. She sells all the women in my family their make-up. She is charging $250 for the entire wedding party b/c we already have the products, she's just applying them. My hair is free, my cousin has her own salon and is doing everyone's hair the morning of.

Thanks for the advice.  Unfortunately, I'm getting married in Frederick, so Baltimore Bridal Hair isn't an option... but I'm glad to know I have some time to wait before needing to book.
