Day-of Coordinator

I'm looking for someone interested in being a day-of coordinator for my wedding on Nov. 21st in DC.  There is no money in the budget to go to a professional and craigslist gave me nothing.. ideas?

I'd suggest having a friend or a family member you can trust do the running around and making sure everything is up to par. It also helps if they've been a part of a wedding beforehand or has had their own wedding. Just let them know what you expect and give copies of all your contact information. Give a nice gift to say thank you like you would your wedding party and parents.

I'm looking for someone similar to take care of day-of details for me as well.  Perhaps we could coordinate at each other's weddings.  Email me khanhmpham (at) gmail (dot) com if you're interested.

I highly recommend you contact Alicia Menendez.  She coordinated my wedding (yesterday!).  She's just starting out in the biz, so she doesn't charge nearly as much as the pros and will likely be willing to work with you on a price.  I didn't budget money for a coordinator, but as my wedding got closer, I didn't want to worry about the problems and didn't want to ask one of my guests to worry about the problems either.  Even though Alicia didn't cost much, she did a top of line professional job for me!  If there were any problems, I was totally unaware of them.  I had so much at my wedding and asking Alicia to be my day-of coordinator was the single best decision I made!Alicia's email address isalicia.menendez@gmail.com
