Planning a Maryand Bay Wedding...

I just moved to Delaware from MA less than a month ago and got engaged...  We want to cross the border into Maryland for our nuptials.  We are looking for a classy/casual on the Bay (actual water). Can anyone recommend a location for a budget conscious bride?

    On the western shore we looked into Celebrations, Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, Swan Harbor, Herrington on the Bay, and Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa.There is a few in St. Michaels but that was a little fat for us - Harbourtowne and The Oaks.There is 1 or 2 in Easton but i don't recall the name. I don't know how your definition of budget conscious is, but we found most to be too much money or too high of minimums for Fri or Sat for us.

    I am getting married at Matapeake Clubhouse a Queen Anne's Park right on the water.  We are putting a tent up.  Very cost effective, and you are getting the same view as Chesapeake Bay Beach Club.  There are some time restrictions as to when you can start but good place to check out. Eastern Yacht club is also great.  They are nice to deal with.Good luck!

    I 2nd Eastern Yacht Club.  That's where we are having our wedding, and it's just perfect, and the cost was super reasonable in comparison to some of the other places.

    We are having our wedding at Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa in May.  It's a beautiful location.  http://www.somdweddings.com/detail_real_somdwedding.php?id=14Chesapeake Bay Beach Club has a good reputation, but they were more expensive than some of the other ones.  We visited Herrington on the Bay, and it's really beautiful too.

    Hey, I just got married at the Silver Swan Bayside at the Queen Anne Marina in Stevensville, MD.  If you look at my more recent post about being back as a Mrs., there are some links to photos.GL!
