Holy cow have I been busy. Today was the frosting of the cupcakes and dipping of the cake balls. Lets just say if something could go wrong it did. Everything is done now, thankfully. I caught a glimpse of the reception room tonight. It looks amazing!!! Tomorrow is venue decorating and rehearsal. Definitely ready for the craziness to be done. I have skimmed through the posts - It doesn't appear that I have missed anything, am I right?
How is your week coming along?
Re: Stress City
Don't worry. We didn't tar and feather any newbies while you were gone.
I haz a planning bio
As for me - we got back from Tahoe on Monday and had to work Tues night and today but off the next 4 days. Planning to unpack gifts , clean house , attend a friends wedding on Saturday and relax on sunday
Have fun at your dinner and decorating!
To top it all off, FI's 19 year old sister called me yesterday...she's pregnant. I had to be the one to tell FI. Sigh. She wants to go "get it taken care of"...but I suppose I think she should at least give SOME thought to what she's about to do and not treat it like a quick fix.
So, needless to say, the wine has been flowing at my house this week.
On a more positive note, congrats Loopy!
As for me, things are busy. Booked my plane ticket for Madrid last night.

You are going to look so beautiful! I can't wait to see photos!!
I hate and despise FTD. See my bachelorette party email about a flower story. Got an email that they are shipping my flowers today to my moms house which is about 45 minutes away from my venue and not to my venue as they were supposed to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish you a much better rest of today and a wonderful wedding tomorrow!

That sucks that things aren't going right, but you'll be fine. You sound like you're handling it well. Have fun tonight and try to relax for tomorrow! Come back with pictures as soon as possible!
Hazel, you booked your Madrid tickets? Wooo hooo! Let me know if you need any advice on specific hotels, where to stay, buying train tickets, etc. Happy to help!
Shoes, that sucks. My BF's sister is pregnant we just found out, but she's 25 and married and this is a much-wanted baby. I'd hate to think how we'd feel if it was BF's 19 or his (yikes) 16 year old sister who was pregnant!
I'd eat your balls of cake any time, no matter how wonky they look.
