How many programs did you all do (or are doing) for your guests? We anticipate about 100-110 coming, and I have 75 programs. My assumption is that most couples will take one to share, and single people (not that I have many at all) will take one. I dont want to run out, but the design I did is a pain in the butt and to do more would be a hassle (I have a cardstock folder, with a cropped 8x10 sheet on the inside with text on it, with a ribbon binding, and a decorative tag on the cover).     That sounds about right - we had 125 programs and 150 guests expected and we had a LOT left over.

    I think I did about 60 for 100 people.... I got sick of tying ribbon, so I chucked the other 40 I'd printed LOL

    That should be plenty. Your assumptions are good. Here's what I've noticed: - Couples usually take one (the woman will take one)- Single women will take one- Single guys hardly ever take one- Kids always take one (because they can)In short, kids & women want programs, men don't ;)

    I am glad that this post was written.....I was wondering the samething. I did not want to make more than what I needed to. We have between 80-85 guests coming and I was thinking of just making around 50-60 progrmas.

    Thanks, Katherine, for posting!  My mom thinks I need to plan for more and I was thinking less -- about half -- but perhaps I need a bit more than that.  Did you use a template for your programs?

    Sure, glad I could help! lol. :)   Anyway, I did a google search for "wedding program templates" and also looked at one that Stephanie (fellow Knottie, i think her S/N was smlinebe or something close) sent me, and kind of came up with my own based on all of those. I did it in Publisher, and printed it out on fine 25% ivory 8x11 cotton paper from Staples. I then trimmed it down with a paper cutter to 8x10, folded it, and put it inside chocolate brown cardstock also folded in half. I used a hole puncher to do "spine" holes for ivory ribbon, and printed off decorative tags on the linen paper to put on the front of the programs.

    My dad insisted on having a program for almost every person. I kept telling him that not everyone would take one. I was going to stop at 100 (for our expected 180). But he made another 80. We have TONS left. I even had someone handing them out and people wouldn't take them. I think you have plenty!
