Balance Photography (photo journalist team in Baltimore)

***Hi all - I initially posted this under the "Photography" boards and someone recommended that I add my review here, too. Here 'tis.*****One of the greatest gifts of our May wedding day was our photographers' skill and attention. Ours were a husband and wife team that used to head up photojournalism for a newspaper in Baltimore. They left no stone unturned, doing everything from showing up early to de-shining my face. They got the list of photos we wanted but even more important to us are the spontaneous candid shots that captured laughs, hugs, and even grimaces. If you're interested check them out - Nathanial and Rissa of Balance Photography. A lot of our photos are featured on their site right now if you want a look at our day. Go to http://balancephotography.net/ and under "Weddings" click on "Ryan and Qui's Perfect Day." Rissa also does boudoir photos for the ladies - some sassy stuff, although I opted not to (for now.) Enjoy!

4 posts and no bio.  Hmm.  So, what are they giving you free in exchange for this gleaming review?

Doesn't lend a lot of street cred to someone when they have 3/4 posts to their name, and all of the posts are raves about vendors, after the wedding.  And since she posted this on a national board, instead of a local board, it doesn't even appear that she lurked prior to posting - if she had she would have known where to post it in the first place.  It would be one thing if it was a matter of "I didn't post much, but your reviews helped me out so much in my planning that I wanted to return the favor."I stand by my initial assesment.

Vendor possibility aside - the password protect thingy has been taken off and there are some awesome pictures of Ryan and Qui's wedding. Quileed, don't tarnish a reputation by posting fake reviews. Let the photos speak for themselves, they are fantastic. If a photographer takes great pics, he or she will become known.

You also didn't come here and just post a review, seemingly out of the blue :)

My question is still, what would make you come to the message boards at all and post a review, if you've never been to the boards to begin with? In most cases, its because a vendor tells/asks/bribes the client to post a good review of them on the message boards. That's all I'm sayin
