candy centerpieces instead of table

what do you girls think about doing candy centerpieces. We really don't want to do candles or flowers. We thought we could just put candy in vases. Different candy on each table and put something on the table to let the guests know they could mingle from table to table and get different candies. what do you think?

I think its a really cute idea. I would suggest including a little note letting guess know that they can eat the candy thats in the vases on their tables and others tables. You get 2 for 1 candybar and centerpieces. HTH. GL!

Cute. How about putting little boxes/bags on the tables with a note about getting other candies at different tables?

Super cute idea! At each station you could put a little note with a love saying or something about the two of you as a couple. Or if your favorite candy is in one vase let them know its your favorite and same for your FIs favorite. Very nice idea! Hope to see some pictures after the wedding! Good luck! :-)

Make a sash that goes around each vase with a little card attached telling everyone what it is and whos favorite it is

good idea! i am excited about theses now! thank you so much for all of your imput!! one more question. do you think that it would look weird to just have two vases of candy on a table? should we add anything else? or would adding favor boxes be enough?

If you don't want candles or anything then you could do two vases with two different colored candies maybe get a large vase and a smaller one. If you would put a note saying take the candy and a box or bag at each place setting that should be enough. You could do fake flowers too not many maybe just a few large flowers and put them around the candy dishes just as a filler.

You could distinguish them from one another with a ribbon in your colors tied around the vases and little tags reading "His" and "Her's". Just a thought
