I was avoiding it because I really don't need any more distractions from what I should be doing. Anyone else try to avoid things because they know they will be addicting. (Besides drugs. :P)

Welcome to the addiction. I honestly don't know how I would keep my ideas organized without it. Despite it being a ridiculous procrastinator tool, it is a huge help.

I barely go to the actual site unless I'm meeting with a vendor. I use my menu bar buttons to gather and categorize images I find elsewhere. When I go to the actual site, that's when I go down the rabbit hole.

My goal is to curate, not collect.

The curators, in my mind, bring images in from elsewhere on the web.
The collectors like and repin with the curators bring in.

They have a pretty good one for the iPhone. It's not great for searching fir new things, but I love using it to access my pinned stuff. They "have" one for the iPad, but it's not good. It's really frustrating using it on the iPad in the safari server because when you try to pin stuff it won't let you scroll through all your boards so you can really pin stuff.

I know! That's my biggest irritation with it! You have to open the pin in a new window then you can choose from all of your boards!
