Addison Park in Aberdeen, NJ

Hi,My fiance and I are going to see Addison Park this Sunday.  And I have no idea what to expect.  Does anyone have any tips or pointers.  What are the prices? How are the managers, how do they deal with prospective customers?  The place looks great in pics, is that true to form?THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi!  I am getting married at Addison in March.  The hall is stunning - prepare yourself. It is prettier in person.  THe prices are on the high side, but it really depends on time of year, menu, etc.  Ask questions!  I met with Ed and Anthony when I went and both were great - they don't pressure you into anything so just enjoy your first time.  They are having a bridal show within the next week and 1/2 so ask them about it.

    I was a bridesmaid in a wedding there a few months ago and it was great. The foyer is gorgeous and there are some great spots for pictures BUT the staff are really snobby and rude.     Really?  How were they snobby?  Also - how was the dance floor - since it's all the same space, is that floor slippery?

    I dd because I wanted to change what I wrote. Basically when we got off the party bus we brought our cooler and put in the foyer. The second we did some brunette, I don't even remember her name, came up and said "you need to move this out of the way we have an image to uphold and can't have this here". Seriously no lie. That's exactly what happened. Then the bride and groom were about to do pictures on the stairs and the same brunette said that they couldn't do pictures on the stairs until they were told they could. I guess they had other weddings going on and didn't want to have other brides walking through but she really should have been nicer about it. She was a total beotch! Then during dinner I wanted some water and the waiter looked at me like I was inconveniencing him. I just didn't like the staff. The place is gorgeous though.

    Oh the dance floor was fine. There were no problems with slipping.

    I'm a little late on this one--but we're getting married at Addison Park on 1/22/2010. So far, my experience has been great. I call, they return my calls right away. I make appointments, they aren't late. They worked with my budget. I thought their pricing was very comparable to the places I was considering (The Mill at Spring Lake, Imperia, The Palace, Forsgate.....). I am having my wedding on a Friday night, in the winter and am having the Clarion package with Viennese hour so I could be in the price range I wanted.I absolutely love the space. Good luck!
