Song to walk down the aisle

I know the Wedding March is the traditional song to march down the aisle to but has anyone done anything different? Do you regret it? I'm thinking of doing Canon in D but don't want any regrets.

Im doing Canon in D. The Bridal Chorus is so traditional to me I decided to scratch it. I think this is the one you are thinking of? The Wedding March is usually played as the recessional.

Yes, I mean Bridal Chorus. Will everyone still know to stand and turn?

I've been to many weddings with many entrance songs and not once have the guests not known to stand and turn. No matter what the song is, it's usually cranked up, so people know it's time.

Or you can simply have your officiant signal everyone to stand...I've seen this, and it always seems to work.

I walked to an instrumental version of What a wonderful world and there was an announcement to please stand. I loved it!

I used "Trumpet Voluntary".  We had it performed by trumpet (obviously) and organ.  It can be done with just organ though.

I walked down the aisle to Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" (instrumental).  I have no regrets.

I walked down to my MOH's husband playing the intro to Tesla's Love Song on classical guitar. It was awesome. No regrets
