Crap....BM Gift problem

I purchased a subscription to a wine of the month club for one of my bridesmaids as her gift, as well as some chocolates that are made for drinking with wine.She just told me on Monday that she's pregnant.Should I get her a new gift, given that she will not be able to enjoy this one for at least nine months (if not longer b/c of BFing)?ARGH!  I thought it was the perfect gift because she and her boyfriend have really gotten into wine tasting.  Darnit!

    Well, wine does keep.  If they're into wine tasting, this will continue after the baby (probably).  Yes it is bad timing, but would she still appreciate the gift?

    oh, poo Fran, what else? I think i would just go ahead and keep it. You probably can't cancel it, can you? or what about delaying it for a year? At least she can still eat the chocolates? :) Keep it. It is a really great idea! Your'e almost there...:)

    I say go with it.  She'll totally understand the meaning behind it, even if she can't use the wine for a while.

    Thanks, ladies.  My FI also thinks that I should keep it and he thinks that it will make for an even more memorable gift and she's the kind of person who will think it is really funny.This particular bridesmaid knows what a comedy of errors this wedding planning has been for me - especially in the past few weeks - and FI is right, she'll get a kick out of the fact that she "ruined" her gift.Thanks....it's been a wild week.  21 more days.

    That sounds like a great idea! It will be a nice treat for her after the baby comes. (And she can still drink if BF, just has to time it properly!) Yeah for your wedding month!

    lol Fran, that is too funny. I'm sorry you've had such a crazy week, but at least you all can see the humor in this :)I agree with all the PPs, especially if she will think it's funny! She can eat the chocolate during the pregnancy and save the wine for after (or whenever she is Ok to drink it).

    Fran, that is hilarious. I vote for keeping the gift (esp. since your girlfriend would find the humor in it)...you only have a few more weeks, I'm so excited for you!
