UN-CHECK:-(

Just found out we now have to look for an officiant.  FI kept promising his dear friend (who happens to be a Catholic priest) was going to be able to marry us - I kept telling him that it probably wasn't going to happen because we're not getting married in a church - but he was convinced.....well, priest just called and confirmed that he, in fact, CAN NOT marry us for that exact reason.  So I guess now I'd love to take any recommendations for officiants/JP - religious or otherwise (as long as they're ok with a non-religious ceremony.

I would reccomment Rev. Dr. Nicholas J. Boas.  I met with him once and really liked his personality.  He seems to be very flexible!  His website is http://www.revboas.com. Good Luck!

Have you thought about having a friend or family member marry you?  My best friend got a day license and is going to marry us.  I think it makes it that much more special (especially for us cause I'm the god mother of bother her daughters) when you have someone you care about able to marry you.
