Hello! I am new to the August 2012 board. I've been engaged since July 2011 and am getting married on August 11, 2012. I've been pretty active on my local board but haven't stopped by the August 2012 board until now. Now that our wediding year is here, I've been kicking my planning into high gear and am looking forward to exchanging ideas with everyone.

Hi Britt!
What are your colors? What sorta stuff do you have next on your "To Do" list? We are using various shades of purple and grey, and we are about to hire our DJ. This weekend we are meeting with a florist for a consultation. And we still need to pick a photographer and an officiant! gah!

Thanks so much, everyone!!

Our colors are purple and green and I'm also integrating some cream and gray touches. Here's a rundown of where I am at the moment:

Done!
Ceremony site (gorgeous chapel on the Univ. of Pitt campus), officiant, reception site (aquarium),caterer, my dress (Brenda by Sottero & MIdgley), wedding band, flowers, photographer, videographer, transportation.

To Do
Cake, invitations, BM dresses (hopefully this weekend), groomsmen attire (leaning toward gray suits), linens, guest transportation, registry, wedding website, wedding rings, choosing menu, guest book, card box, honeymoon, rehearsal dinner, and probably a million other things that are escaping me at the minute!
