So, with 13 days to go till the big day I feel so discombobulated. A skunk sprayed our dog last wed and my loving FI decided it would be smart to bring her inside. My whole house smelled of skunk, my wedding dress, slip, bra veil and flower girl dress reeked. We had to rent an ozone machine and we have been running it non stop and i just still smell skunk. I think I may have a nervous breakdown. I'm going to be worried that I smell like skunk at my wedding.... That said: I finished my candle illuminary's that we are using instead of place cards. I'll post pics when I take some. They turned out really well. Final count & Seating chart completed!! Also- Ladies have any suggestions for flower girl presents? I got her a little necklace and hair pin that matches the jewelery I bought for myself and my girls as well as a T-shirt that says flower girl. Is that enough or should I do more?

    aw b! if you need somewhere that is skunk-free to keep your dress and stuff you're welcome to store it at my house until the wedding. as for the flower girl, thats probably enough. but you could also maybe get her a little purse to carry that day or some slippers to put on, if you want to get her something else. if you need help with anything, just ask! i still have a bottle of nissley's with your name on it :)

    Thanks S!! I actually evacuated my dress and am storing it at FI's moms house. I think the skunk smell is in my brain when it comes to the dress but I am making Steph sniff it to be totally sure haha! I might get the FG a little bag with a coloring book and crayons to keep her occupied. Shes 4 so very short attention span! How is married life treating you?!

    it probably is in your head, but i would definitely be paranoid too! have you febreezed it? a coloring book is definitely a good idea! four is a tough age to get them to cooperate, so giving her something to occupy herself is good. how stoked are you for the HM? im sooo jealous. married life is good :) we did a trash the dress session last week, ill have to show you pics when we get them.

    I am totally ready for the honeymoon. After everything I need a little vacation. I'm uber stressed because my company is laying off around 100 people so I hope I have a job when I get back...=o(

    yep. they just changed his duties around a little bit. it was way more stress than it was worth.

    Well that is good! Losing your job is horrible. I hope it doesn't happen to me...but only time will tell

    Ahhhh I would be stressed too!! Hopefully it is all just in your head. Do you have much left to do in the next (less than) two weeks? I am just stressed that I am not going to get all my DIY stuff done!!

    Manda, I don't have a huge amount of stuff left. I have to package everything up and take it to the venue; My FI needs to finish up our programs after we meet with our Officiant for the last time Thurs. I'm struggling with doing edible favors or not. I kinda like them at every place setting but I dont feel like taking the time/spending the money to make them. I figured the personalized candle illuminaries could double as favors. IDK how much do you have left?
