Just got back from Hawaii 2 days ago. If you ever get the chance go!! It was nothing like what I expected but was phenonmenal. The flight is ridiculously long but worth it!The weather was absolutely gorgeous it was truly a perfect day to get married!!STD's: magnetstreetweddings.com A+ I wanted a magnet save the date and this is what came up in google search. They were wonderful! When I customized the colors on one of the magnets to my colors and I made a typo they emailed me to ask if it was right before printing. I couldn't have been more relieved because I would have ended up with 100 screwed up magnets!! All in all they were super cute and the website was easy to use. Gown: Dreams to Realities, Maggie Sottero A+ They may  be selling their business so be careful if you buy from them! I had a personalized experience with a great price. I loved my maggie sottero dress!!!Hair/Makeup: reflections in Medina: B+ A couple mishaps along the way that were fixed without a hitch. If interested email me. Overall, my makeup and hair looked gorgeous and all my girls got their hair done with me which made it super fun. Ceremony site:St. Paul Lutheran in Sharon Center A+ We got married in our church so it was very comfortable and they did the programs for us!Organist :  Chris Ilg A+++ This man is amazing!! He is our church organist and Not sure how many weddings he does on the side anymore, but he was absolutely fantastic and talented!Flowers: Roses for Weddings A+ Ety did exactly what she said she would. I was never sure of my vision but the bouquets were GORGEOUS and the centerpieces were nice. I wasn't as big of a fan of the centerpieces as of the bouquets, but that's my own fault for not knowing what I wanted!!! Reception Hall: Todaro's Party Center B+ Up until the wedding, i was a little bit nervous about the reception hall. They didn't always seem very friendly and sometimes were hard to work with. They did return phone calls, but weren't very flexible on times to drop things off or for meeting times. But, day of, the hall was gorgeous the food was wonderful and the decorations were just as I wanted. So in the end it worked out. Cake: Westside Bakery A+++ one of my favorite vendors! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and it tasted amazing! I got one small piece and the rest was GONE! Very easy to work with and they spent time sitting down to talk about my vision. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderfulPhotography: Mark Christoff A He is doing something else after the end of the year anyways so don't go to him! I was a little bit worried because we didn't do a TON of pictures with the wedding party. But he was more reasonable than a lot of photogs. I also already got the proofs back and they turned out better than I expected!!!!Videography: ACCVSP A+ (pending video) I went with them because I needed something inexpensive but wanted video. They surprised me with the amount of professionalism for the price. The videographer was on time and I forgot he was even there!!! He did exactly what they said he would and I can't wait to see the video.DJ: Selective Sound Entertainment A+ We had a VERY tough crowd and Jay R did a wonderful job getting people up and moving. He did some really innovative ideas to get people involved and it was super fun! easy to work with, always returned calls and flexible on meeting times. Wedding coordinator/Day of Wedding Coordinator: Denise Shaw with Bride's Best Friend A+++++ My favorite vendor!!! Denise came from a referral from someone at work and man was she right! Denise was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. I asked for day of coordination and that is what she charged me, but she went above and beyond that with help with invites to doing my placecards when I was about to have a mental breakdown when my printer wouldn't work. The day of everything was seamless and moved along without a hitch.  She made a super detailed schedule with things I would have never thought of, dealt with my crazy family/groomsmen better than I do and acted as my subsitute mother for the day since mine passed away.  She was absolutely amazing.  If you are wondering if the money is worth it for DOC IT IS!!!Invites: A+ Denise helped me with this one so I can't remember the invite lady's name, but I went with a non-traditional send and seal and saved a ton of money. (400 bucks with Thank you's and postage!) They turned out exactly like I wanted them with no craftiness needed. (I don't have the patience or the crafty ability to do DIY invites!!) Once again thank you everyone for being such a help in the planning process! If anyone wants to know more email Amy at rocketfanatic83@yahoo.com

Glad to hear it went so well and way to be on top of your vendor reviews!  Now you're making me feel like a slacker since I got married the week before you. :)We went to Hawaii last spring for a wedding and spent some time there on our own since we were making the trip.  I totally agree.... it was amazing!

glad you had sucha wonderful wedding day! FI and I are planning on going to Hawaii for our honeymoon too...which island did you go to?

Cwheels- don't feel too bad! I had an extra 4 days off after the honeymoon and it was raining Friday so I had nothing better to do!!We stayed on Maui since we didn't want to waste our limited 7 days traveling between islands. (And we had heard Maui was the best anyways) If we had stayed any longer I would suggest traveling to other islands as well. Maui had a laid-back feel with gorgeous landscapes and lots of family-run restaurants and shops. Almost beach-country. We saw more hitchhikers in a week than I have seen in Cleveland in years! But there is SO much more to do than just go to the beach, which is what kept my husband very happy. Everyone is super friendly and chatty which made for a fun vacation. A little on the expensive side, but we figured it would be the only time we ever went so we splurged, but no worse than Disney world with food expense and MUCH better tasting/quality! You will Love it!!! If you want some req's email me! I have tons of suggestions!!

Just wanted to second the vote for Maui.  That's where we went last spring and we drove everywhere and stayed everywhere.  I would definitely recommend the road to Hana (drive it yourself... it isn't scary) and we even stayed in Hana for a night.  The hotel is super expensive there (only 2 I think) so we stayed in a Yurt at a spa retreat.  It was awesome and so unique!  We stayed in Paia, Hana, Kaanapali, and on Lanai.  Feel free to email me at caw30@case.edu with questions.  I did a ton of research before we went.

I believe that Chris Ilg was my music teacher in middle school... I remember him being very talented. Any way to see if he is still doing music on the sidE?

Definetly is a music teacher. Not sure if he did it just because I belong to his church or not. But, i can investigate for you. He is amazing at what he does!!

And I completely forgot my transportation on my vendor review!!!Thomas Limo was an A+ They did an excellent job with my ever changing schedule, were on time and polite! Sometimes they took kinda weird ways to get places but my husband said that may be because of their limitations on their LONG vehicles. But would definitely recommend!
