Florist?

I need some help!  We already have a florist, but I'm not entirely happy with them because they haven't been very helpful and didn't give me any suggestions about anything.  Sooo....we're in search of a new florist.  Who are you using/who did you use?  I don't want to spend a whole bunch on flowers.  We're not doing floral centerpieces.  Any suggestions??

I used ken emery's. I was mostly pleased with his work, and his price was great. I think it was $455 for a bridal bouquet, 4 BM's bouquets, a toss, and I think like 15 boutonnieres/pin on corsages for the GM's, and the parents and grandparents. I have a more specific review and pics in my bio

Lynn from Pollynn Flowers (www.pollynn.com, I think)I'm not doing floral centerpieces either.  I had absolutely no clue what I wanted, and she ran around the store, pulling different flowers and suggesting different things when I met with her.  It really seemed like a collaboration, too... when I said I didn't like something, she'd pull that color out and suggest other colors/flowers that could work.  She's really reasonably priced too... I think we're getting my bouquet and 6 bm bouquets for about 250/300, I don't know the exact price, though.

I second Ken from Emery's florist. They were great to work with. The only problem that I had was that Susan (I think that is her name) took the bouquets out of the water and sat them on the table an hour before the wedding. By the end of the ceremony and pics, they were wilted.

I used Sharry's Touch and was very happy. She had a TON of ideas, and sample photos of her work, but she was also willing to work with all of my ideas to put together really great bouquets and arrangements. She used to own a flower shop but now works out of her home. Her prices were also VERY reasonable. In fact, she was even cheaper than Kroger, which was the cheapest of all "commercial" florists/flower shops I checked out. You can reach her at 419-866-5045.

I also agree about Sharry.  My wedding is Saturday and I have not actually seen my bouquets yet, but everything else about the process was flawless.  In addition, the prices couldn't be beat.My order consisted of my bridal bouquet, 3 BM bouquets, 6 boutonnieres, 5 corsages, flower petals to line the aisle, and a rented birdcage to hold cards at the reception...  all of that for just under $300.

Wow thanks everyone for responding!  We're going to have a busy month meeting with florists and we need to find a bakery :)
