Is airbrush makeup really worth it??

Have you ladies had any trials with airbrush makeup? Did you like it? I am looking around and the ones who do airbrush either don't travel on location or charge a lot extra for it. Is this normal? Your opinions are appreciated! thanks

Is your wedding soon?I just got an e-mail yesterday that Sephora now has an at-home airbrushing kit and I'm wondering if MUA will start charging less since it's a little more available than before. Just a thought, if you have a little time to wait it out!

My wedding is in March, so some time to wait....but not that long, u know? I actually saw that system in Sephora and if that is what they would be using and was told by a couple different artists that its not the same thing. Apparently the one in Sephora is like an easy to use consumer version with limited colors whereas the ones the artists have are pro versions where you can mix colors, adjust coverage, etc... I guess it makes a difference....lol I am so clueless about this.

Ooh, that makes sense. Well from what I've heard of people that have done airbrushed make-up, is that if it rains, you sweat, or cry, it's worth it. I'm getting married in July and cry like a baby at EVERY wedding I go to so I will certainly be looking for someone that does it!Keep in mind though, that most photographers "touch-up" their photos.

I had a regular makeup application for my wedding and just did airbrush for my boudoir session. I was amazed by the difference and can say I can tell from the pictures. If I could redo it I would.

I was considering doing airbrushing for my March wedding, then my wedding planner told me she was not a fan, because you can see that the neck (and shoulders, etc.) were not airbrushed.  So, I guess it depends if your neck will be visibly a different shade from your airbrushed face.  Otherwise, I've heard it's great with regard to your makeup lasting to the end.

My makeup artist does airbrush makeup.  I havent had it done yet but have seen her do it.  SHe says it last longer and it is a more sheer lightweight coverage.  It does cost more.  Right now I dont know how much more.  She will travel to you.  She also does waxing and threading. You contact her at justfaceitdani@gmail.com tell her Crystal referred you

i've had airbrushing done for my best friends wedding. the foundation was airbrushed, everything else was done traditionally. i think that it looked good, but it didn't look any different from what can be done with traditional makeup. it did last but I must admit, regular makeup lasts just as well on me. i still got oily during the day, so that was no different. i would say, it looks good and lasts long, but i'm not convinced that it is SOOO much better than traditional, and this is coming from a makeup fanatic who was super excited to get airbrushed. with that said for my big day, i am getting airbrushed but it's mostly because i want my body done too, and i do think it will be better for that purpose.

I really loved it from my trial. My skin was flawless all day, and no shine at all. My MUA does it - Ana Merces. She charges extra, but it's not a ton.

My makeup/hair artist does airbrush and travels.  If you are not used to wearing makeup every day, it is sooo worth finding someone who does airbrush.  It feels so natural with great coverage.  I did two trials, one who didn't do airbrush and Kim Steele who I ended up going with.  She does charge a small fee for traveling but she does an amazing job!

I got airbrush and I loved it. I am sooo glad I did b/c it was very hot at my wedding and I didn't have to worry about my makeup melting off. Plus, my makeup artist said it was better for people who have sensitive skin like me, because it doesn't get into your pores. I highly recommend. I'm not a big fan of heavy makeup anyways. I typically use Bare Essentials.

One of my co-workers had it done this past Saturday for her wedding it was fabu, and with the heat at the site, it stayed on all night, she said it was very affordable, You can see the planer in info in my bio, we used the same one, I am out of town working so I don't have the number for her handy. She can probably help you out.
