  If you would be willing to consider a Monday through Thursday wedding Mercury Hall is very affordable.  We're doing a Thursday day-time wedding, 6 hours of space rental plus tables and chairs for $750.   You can bring your own alcohol (even kegs are OK) and your own caterer.  I think their weekend rental rates are $2500+.

  All the sites run by Austin Parks and Recreation allow you to bring in your own food and are really reasonably priced. The reservation lottery system is a little complicated, but the price makes it worth it, IMHO. The view from the Zilker Clubhouse is particularly fabulous.   We used Caswell House for our wedding -- their prices are very reasonable + venue is pretty.  They let you bring in your own caterer & alcohol.  www.caswellhouse.org

  Hmm my favorites are Sendero Event Center in Liberty Hill and Vintage Villas near Lakeway. I've been in weddings at both and I have nothing bad to say. I'm having mine at our place in Port A so I don't have a "brides" opinion though...

  House on the Hill  allows you to bring your own caterer and alcohol.  It feel like a back yard.
