Hey ladies!  Sorry I haven't written in awhile.  I just wanted to give an update a month out from my wedding!Everything has gone so smoothly!  We are getting married at the First Christian Church in Norman (absolutely BEAUTIFUL)!  Our reception will be taking place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norman.  I would HIGHLY recommend them!  They are working within our $1,000 budget, giving us $20 off each of our guests rooms, AND giving us a suite for free Friday before the wedding, and Saturday night for after the wedding!  They are also putting Champaign and chocolate-covered strawberries in the room for Saturday, since it's our first night as husband and wife!  Dustin (my fiance), works for a bank, and one of the tellers does DJing on the side, so we're getting a great deal.  I also know a photographer, who is giving us a great deal on pictures!  I'm so excited!  One month and 2 days left to go!!! :)

    Congrats! The Hilton Garden inn is a great hotel we stayed there once while in Norman..its a small ballroom so not sure it would work for everyone.

    I agree.  We don't expect more than 150 guests, but we also will have a dance floor.  So it could probably host about 175 without the dance floor.

    Well, I work for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Our game night photographer has done a few weddings in the past, and offered to do mine for a discounted price!  He is doing photography at the ceremony and reception, and video of the ceremony for $500.I've had some AMAZING luck with the planning of my wedding!
