I'll make it quick- FSIL (FI's SIL) "unfortunately won't be able to attend" our wedding. Translation: "you're not important enough to me/I don't care that we're going to be family members for the rest of our lives." Also, FMIL misspelled my name on the rehearsal dinner invite. Fine, it was my middle name, but I know the wedding invite is on her refrigerator. Sweet. Anyone else? Please give me entertainment in these last few weeks. :)

    My brother is in the Army and he's home on leave, which I'm so happy about, but here are a few things that have me a little down in the dumps:I sent out our Save-the-Dates - we got a card in the mail from one of my guests addressed to my parents letting them know they were praying for my brother. Nothing at all about the wedding.My parents are interrupting our engagement photo shoot on Saturday after the first hour to have family pictures done. And they didn't clear it with me first.Again, I'm so happy he's back and safe, and I know he's risking his life and I love him very much, but those things have just been bothering me a little bit. That's my tiny rant. =)

    My mom's side of the family seems to be complete tard-smacks when it comes to ettiquette sometimes. We received a thank you card for attending my cousin's going away party, he re-enlisted in the Army. Instead of my cousin sending the TY's his mom did. After being with my fiance for just about 4 years now, the envelope was addressed to "my name" and fiance. Really?! Why not just put "that guy you keep bringing around"!?!? Then I recieved a birthday invitation from another cousin, same family. Why did they misspell my FI's name? Is Brian really that hard to spell. If you don't know, then just call. Or again, another way to go about it would be to just address it to "that guy you bring around". Not only that but it was addressed "his misspelled name, my name and my last name"...it just gave me the creeps. Maybe I'm just ettiquette sensitive now that I'm planning a wedding.

    Ennaerb- she is making lame excuses, as told to me by FMIL.  They include, but are not limited to: job hunting, not being able to find someone to dog-sit, and getting sick when she travels to cold climates. Also, her husband is Best Man.This is consistent with other antics they both pull, and it's just something I don't want to deal with.

    Oh yeah, those are definitely some pretty lame excuses.  Hmmm, maybe you wouldn't want her there anyway.  I can only imagine she'll be pouting the whole time.
