  It's all about research.  Checking different search engines, calling places and getting info.  Deciding on a place and then track the pricing trends from week to week to see when the best time to purchase is.  Sometimes even a travel agent can get you the best deal.
  
  Biggest thing is to reseach where you want to go and the places surrounding it, read reviews.  You get cheap trips by knowing the info.

  SideStep.com is a great site for flight comparisons. I usually just use TripAdvisor's compare tool for top hotels of the areas I'd ilke to visit.

  Depends on where you're going.  Some popular destinations have deal websites devoted just to them (we're smartervegas.com addicts).  Google "[destination] deals" and see what comes up.

  Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
