kosher caterer feedback? (ny/ct area)

hi! getting married may 27th in ct and am narrowing down my options for catering. we're using a kosher caterer, although the meal itself is going to be fish/vegetarian (i want real butter in the dessert!) and we're planning on having the main meal be a buffet. anyone out there have experience with Main Event catering? That's who I'm leaning toward right now. any other suggestions? thanks! ~elyse

    i used main event for my wedding and loved them. my in laws have used them for many simchas and have never had a complaint!

    On recommendations from Rachel and many other Jewish brides, I too am booking with Main Events. They are a tad more than a few others, but I think it's worth it (though we are doing meat; just fish/vegetarian is probably a lot less).  I've never heard on negative and they are more than responsive and available via email or telephone.     I have tasted food from Main Event while at a friend's wedding in Greenwich. For my own wedding in the Chicago area we used Danziger which was fantastic but I am sorry I can't help you with any other rec's.

    we are using Foremost.  we know a lot of people who have used them and loved them!  we are having our tasting on Nov 11.
