Hello Ladies,Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice restaurant where I can my rehearsal dinner for about 50 guests?TIA!

    We're using Candela's (upscale Mexican) in Coronado. It has an outdoor seating area that accommodates up to 60 people with a GREAT view of downtown San Diego. Il Fornaio (Italian) is a short walk away and also has a great outdoor eating area that would accommodate 50 for sure. I think both of those places have a $3000-4000 minimum (FMIL insisted.)

    I would also love to know where people recommend for rehearsal dinner. My wedding is in Coronado any suggestions, I'm planning from the SF bay area.Also for OP there's a great Mexican restaurant on Coronado Island at the Cordova Hotel. I also thought about doing Hard Rock Cafe which may work for you, in the Gass Lamp, you can rent out a private room. It may work well for 50 people.

    I'm a little late to reply so you've probably already booked somewhere but Sbicca in Del Mar is really good. The restaurant looks small from the front and I think originally it was a house so it has kind of a fun funky vibe. The food is soo good I know they rent out for private party's (we were looking at it for our reception but couldn't figure out how to get a dance floor in and dance at my wedding was a huge thing I wanted) If you haven't already decided I would ask to rent out the roof top and try to aim for dinner at sunset and if weather is not on your side they do have a tent cover so it can be fully enclosed and has clear sides so you still have a pretty view. I love this place so I have to add it whenever anyone asks
