Disappointed

HI Girls! Just needed a quick sec to vent. The place we were holding our ceremony and reception fell through... The place was not being very honest and cooperative with the contract and we felt they were being deceptive and were entirely unwilling to protect us or the money they needed way to far in advance. So anyway, we had to make a tough decision and decide to change our plans, but even though this was our decision it is still disappointing because we loved the place and everything it had to offer fit perfectly into our vision. We know there are lots of other gorgeous and affordable places out there that we can fall in love with too but we are just at a standstill as to where to begin looking again. We still have a pretty long engagement ahead so we still have time but we are both in grad school full time and work full time so the stress is finding the time to start all of our planning over... We are interested in the Harrisburg, hershey, pottsville area if anyone has any suggestions. We are hoping for an outside wedding followed by an inside.outside reception. Any suggestions! Thanks for listening!

We got married at Harmony Hall in Middletown. We got married outside on the lawn by some trees then had our reception in their gorgeous ballroom.

Peter Allen House is very pretty, it is a Victorian feel. I am also a fan of the Civics Club, however very exensive. Also, the Hershey Gardens are very pretty- but again expensive!
