I have to stay out of that store for exactly this reason. If I go in there when I don't absolutely need something I still come out with hundreds of dollars worth of stuff because it's cheap.
I love HomeGoods!! My mom used to work for TJ Maxx and would get a discount. ::sigh:: I miss those days. There's one right across the street from work.
(PS Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and AJ Wright are all owned by TJ Maxx).
Yep. All the same company. Which makes it weird to me when there's a TJ Maxx immediately adjacent to a Marshall's - just have one big one, you know?
Home Goods is different, of course - no clothes ro anything, just house stuff. Some is very crappy, but other stuff is good. I tend to buy blank notecards there. You can get a 10 or 15-pack of nice ones for $2 or $3 sometimes. The same stuff that's $12 at Barnes & Noble.
Our HomeGoods is pretty far away from my house, but it's on the way home from one of my client sites! So sometimes I just have to stop.
