So good you found this out now! I've always been worried about being a guinea pig for someone on something as important as my wedding photos. Could you have imagined how upset you would have been after the wedding...Good luck finding a new photographer...

I posted a link on craig's list and got a ton of reply's. I am meeting with three this week. I think my favorite will be this girl named Alisha Landreth. Her highest pricing package is like $600 and it included a bunch of stuff. I am meeting with her tomorrow if you want me to let you know how that goes message me. Also, I am meeting with a girl named Kira Hye today. I think she sounds awesome cause she is about to be a new bride as well. I can give you updates and webpages if you need them. Let me know and Good Luck.

Nice..keep in mind that anyone can make a website with some pictures on it..but for $800.00 wow..that is a great price we are paying around $5500 for our package which was average for the level of quality we wanted and the options we wanted I am happy with that price as I know this is one of the things I will have forever. We opted to lose a few things to spend more on the fun and photos. We lost the chair covers (might add them back) we opted for no veggie trays (or basically filler food) at the reception we also nixed mixed drinks at the bar and stuck with beer and wine. This saved us about $3000 over all and we put that toward our DJ and photographer budget. I think we are also nixing a chocolate fountain as it seems "so 2007-2008" and isn't really that exciting anymore (plus its sort  of gross to me in a way) as I had seen kids sticking their fingers in one at a wedding I went to last summer(yuk!)...I have done alot of research, found horror stories and really want this to be a perfect day so while we are going budget on some things...we are also investing in the things that will really make or break our day and photos are something that we cannot redo!

You should definitely shop around when looking for vendors, but don't think you have to pay thousands of $$ for great pictures.  Our photographers were out of Norman and we ended up paying about $750 and I couldn't be happier!  Very professional, fun to work with, GREAT pictures, and a price we could live with.  Anyway, don't feel like you won't have great pics unless you spend a ton of money.  You're smart to look around and do your research!

I was able to find a girl that I actually went to highschool with in Enid and she has a business now. She charges $50/hour and $500 for a cd of all the pictures so you can always make prints later. Her photos are AMAZING and I can't wait to meet with her!!!
