Hey everyone! We are married and back from our honeymoon in Costa Rica! I didn't post a lot on here but lurked a ton. The things that helped me the most were the vendor reviews, so here are mine:Rehearsal Dinner: The Pressroom, Lancaster Grade: AThe food was delicious and the service was impecable.Hair/Makeup: Visage a Visage, Lancaster Grade: A+Myself, my bridesmaids, my mother, and my MIL all had our hair done while I also had my makeup done. They were smooth, fast, and did exactly what each girl asked them to do. A bit expensive, but worth it in my opinion.Reception: The Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square Grade: A++I worked with Sarah Heath and she is amazing! The food was impecable and although it is a hotel ballroom we were easily able to turn it into a stunning wedding venue. People oooohed and awwwed when they walked through the door...exactly what I was hoping for! The staff was incredibly nice and really catered to our every need. Highly recommended!Limo: A Special Occasion Limo, Lancaster Grade: AThe driver was right on time for all of the pickups, super nice, and made sure that I didn't see the groom or vice versa when he took us to the Church. Florist: Rohrer Family Farm, Lancaster Grade: A++Rose, the owner, did an incredible job! Our flowers looked exactly as we had hoped, in fact even better! Rose came through with something magnificent for every aspect of our flowers from the ceremony to the reception. And very reasonably priced!!!Photographer: Maria Mack Photography, Philadelphia Grade: AMaria is very reasonably priced and we are getting a lot! She was super sweet, as well was the second photographer. They were very creative and we are super excited to see our photos. Had a sneak peak on her blog and am in love with the. check them out:
www.mariamack-photography.com under blog and we are Michele and Nate. Enjoy!Band/DJ: The Zone, Philadelphia Grade: A++/BWe booked both a band and a DJ through ESS Entertainment. The people at ESS were not incredibly responsive, hence the B- BUT, and it is a huge but, the band The Zone is worth it! They were a bit expensive but were the hit of the reception. Everyone, and I mean young and old, were out on the dance floor. The best part of our reception hands down. Highly, highly recommended. Chris, the band leader, and contact after dealing with ESS is super sweet and really does want you to have the best time of your life. Incredible!!I hope this helps, and if you have specific questions about any of these vendors or a Costa Rican honeymoon I am happy to help! I miss wedding planning already, so let me help you with yours!!-Michele
