Hi everyone,

My sister is getting married in September in Salem and is looking for DJ recommendations. She's looking for a more affordable DJ if possible, not to spend over $1000.

    We used Rhythm Express from RI. Bill Bibeau was our DJ and he was FANTASTIC! We paid $900 for 7 hours of service.

    We're using David Abbott through New England DJs. He did our friend's wedding in February and is awesome! He's doing the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception music. He doesn't charge for travel or set up/breakdown. We're only paying $795 for everything! He has a referral rate of $895 and if you pay in full he knocks $100 off the cost. PM me and I'll give you my name so you can try to get the referral rate as well.

    We are using DJ Shyne from ECF Entertainemnt. He is $1,000 for 4 horus, but he has a lot of DJs who work for him and are more affordable. I've loved working with him so far, and I like the fact that he provided us with an on-line tool to help in picking all our music.

    Check out DJour Entertainment. They're a new startup started by a recent Emerson grad. Nora, the main DJ is awesome, super accommodating, affordable and easy to work with.
