Recommend stores for bridesmaid dresses

Hi girls!  Can you recommend any stores around the northwest suburbs to look for bridesmaid dresses?  I was thinking Brides by Demetrios and Bridesmart (both in Schaumburg), but I googled reviews and they both seem pretty bad.  I want to also stay away from House of Brides in Schaumburg (been there for a wedding and really did not like the snooty salespeople).  Thanks :)

    The Bridesroom in Wheeling was excellent for my wedding dress.  They seemed to have 5 or 6 popular BM designers too.  Volle's Bridal in Lake Zurich was nice too.  They seemd a little pushy when I was there, but I knew they had good service since my sister and a friend bought their gowns there.  HTH.

    I absolutely do NOT recommend The Bride's Room in Wheeling.  I've heard of, and experienced, too many situations where they told brides and BMs that they must be confused about something rather than accepting responsbility for their mistake.  I would recommend Volle's in Lake Zurich though.  I had a good experience there.

    Its a hit or miss with stores and saleswomen. A store could be great and hire a terrible saleswoman who is pushy, or a historically notorious store could bring on a really sweet non-pushy woman. I am guessing staff at the stores come and go just like in any retail job. I am using a store called Net Bride which is online and also was looking at Pearl's Place.

    I love love love the brides room They were really helpful with my wedding dress and i got a bm dress for a friends wedding there.

    My 4 bridesmaids, and 2 flower girls and myself were highly impresses with VIP Occasions in Elmhurst. I wish I had found the store before I purchased my own wedding dress. It is owned by 2 sisters who are truly passionate about the industry. The alterations are very reasonable and well done as well.

    The Bridal Mansion in Lisle is wonderful- it's a smaller store but they have a huge selection!
