RSVPs anyone?!?!

Okay so today is my due date for RSVPs and we still have 20 some odd RSVPS that weren't sent in.  Seriously...why is it so hard for people to RSVP, after all the postage I paid for...it really kind of pisses me off!  GRRRR!  Rant over.

Some people still think the RSVP date is the "mail by" date.  Give it a couple of days, THEN freak out and start calling people.

I figured I'd give until next week and then start making calls, luckily our site doesn't require a guest count until 3 days prior.  So frustrating tho!

I know where you're coming from.  I doubt you remember, but I hit my RSVP deadline, and still had HALF of mine missing.  Not fun.  :(

No that's a lot of calling around.  Hopefully more will come in within the next week!

Our rsvp date was sep. 23 and we STILL are missing some--i think it happens to everyone. I'd say if you dont have what you need in a week or so, start calling!

I think I am the exception...my rsvp date was saturday and I only am missing 1...and it's the deacon and his wife!

Uggg, mine was last friday and I'm still missing almost 40.  My sister is calling them for me.  It's just a big deal because we have to give the final count to the cake baker Saturday.

We had about 36, maybe a few more, up until a week after the original RSVP due date.  We started making phone calls, sending emails, etc. but still ended up with about 10 that kept lingering.  It was probably one of the most aggravating parts of the planning.  I am convinced that it doesn't matter how early or late you send, whether or not you send STD's, etc.  Some people just don't care and will come up with the silliest excuses why they couldn't get them back to you.  Then over 2 & 1/2 weeks after the final count was turned in you get a few b/c figured it was okay to let us know then.  Argh.
