outdoor ceremony locations?

Does anyone have other suggestions of a location for an outdoor ceremony with an included indoor space for pre-wedding staging and weather back up?  I've looked at the Cleveland Metroparks, Shaker Lakes, Cuyahoga Valley national park, the Summit county metroparks, Tinker Creek State park.  Stan Hywet isn't super practical price wise for a ceremony only.  And Mooreland mansion doesn't do ceremony's only.  I'd like to stay on the east/south east side as the reception will be at Blue Canyon.Just want to make sure I at least check out the websites of as many locations as possible.

I don't know if it's too far east, but I was married at an outdoor ampitheater behind old south church in kirtland. The church can be used in case there is bad weather and it is a beautiful location. Quaint, yet gorgeous.

Have you checked out the Rockefeller Greenhouse? They only do ceremonies (& photos). Since it's a greenhouse, it would be indoor, but with an outdoor feel.Kinda far for you, but Puskas Outdoor Party Center in Lorain?

Oooh – another great option is Lake Forest CC  - 15 minutes from Blue canyon in Hudson. They have a beautiful grass wedding area, arch, etc overlooking a lake, with a beautiful facility with Fireplace, etc. inside that would be perfect for indoor ceremony.  They are pretty reasonable for receptions – not sure on pricing for ceremony only.  Email me at angela.wish@gmail.com if interested in photos from a wedding I was at there!

The pp got me thinking of another idea -- Hudson Springs Park in Hudson has a picnic pavilion overlooking a nice lake. So, the pavilion could be a backup spot. Not truly indoors, but if it rains, you'd be dry for the ceremony, and the pavilion is right.next.to the lake.

Thanks Everyone...I have a few more placed to check out now. Raeg13 - I've seent that chuch, it is beautiful.  Guess I should have mentioned its going to be a Jewish ceremony, so a church is probally out.  m17Custer - I heard that the botanical garden charges like $500 an hour just to allow a photographer on the property and that's on top of the rental fee.  Do I have incorrect information?Ayamm1123 - can you rental country clubs without being a member or having a member sponsor you?  I know people that could sponsor me at Mayfield-Sandridge Country Club, but I hadn't wanted to go that route (yet) because I didn't want to have to invite those people.

Also, I saw a wedding was going on today at Sarah's Vineyard Winery in Cuyahoga Falls, across from Blossom. They have a super cute tasting room where the reception could be, or you could do a tented reception on the grounds. There's also a winery in Kent called Viking Vineyard(?) that does events.

I know LFCC does not need to be a member.  for my company holiday christmas party I contacted several and never ran into that issue.  Sometimes there is a higher rental fee for non-members.
