I'm a chas nestie, but wanted to pass along some info on a bridal event happening next Thurs in downtown Chas! The Charleston Museum presents Aisle Style: 150 Years of Wedding Fashion, an original exhibition on display from October 16, 2009 through June 30, 2010. While focusing on the bride and her dress, the exhibition will include accessories, men's garments, trousseau treasures, and photographs. Aisle Style will also explore wedding traditions, from orange blossoms and blue garters to the magnificent white gown. The RSVP deadline is Monday, October 12th {All of the details are on the museum website}. Cost $20 {includes food & open bar} The opening reception is featuring new age reception style and ideas! It's Thursday, October 15th from 6-8pm at the Charleston Museum. Lots of local vendors are contributing to the event, so take advantage of sampling food, beverage, cakes, planning, lighting etc!
