Elegante Films

Hello all! I am a West Coast Florida Knottie out of Tampa. I am using Elegante Films for videography and was just checking to see if anyone is using them or been in contact with them lately. My wedding is this Saturday, and I emailed Arami last week to check in on things with no response. I'm trying to make sure someone shows up this weekend with a camera and equipmentTongue out

    hey there!

i give elegante an A+ for quality of work and an F for communication. i'd definitely follow up with them again and let them know that their lack of response is unacceptable. i'd also prepare to wait longer than the 6 months they probably estimated for you to get your video. it's annoying, but i think it's worth it in the end because of how good the finished product is. central florida really needs a videographer that does very good camera/editing work, has great communication, and is prompt with delivery of the final product. i have yet to see one that is the whole package. most of the ones who deliver the video quickly do awful editing, etc.

anyway, to get back on track, i wouldn't stress about them not showing up. their problem is communication, not with their actual service. good luck! your wedding is going to be amazing. please come share your pics with us!

Thanks Sarah! I've seen your trailer before, but a long time ago, it is excellent! I've gotta run some errands but I'm going to PM you a little later to chat if that's okLaughing

I really like their work, but as Sarah said, their communication was very poor. When I reached him by phone on two separate occasions I always felt rushed..Like he had something better to do or take care of his paying customers.

[QUOTE]Does your venue offer the service?  Mine requires a DOC but if you don't want to hire one, you can pay $500 for their event coordinator or her assistant to act as your DOC during your rehearsal and on the day of (obviously).  I like the idea of having someone who knows the ins and outs of the venue.

<div>There is a lady that works there that is roughly $700 but not required.  She is the lowest I've found, but that was just a rough estimate.</div>
