It's Friday!

Here is my Friday thankfulness list:- It's Friday, and I am off for the weekend!- All of my patients seem very nice.- I am working with a fun group of people today.- The GTG is tomorrow night, and I am breaking loose and going!- Tomorrow my  FMIL (who is practically my best friend) is coming over for the day to show me the CPs that she has made, deliver the fairy costumes she made for Holloween for my girls, go shopping to buy patterns/fabric to make capes and muffs for my girls to wear during the outdoor ceremony, and look at various decorations for the ceremony and reception. I love that lady and know we will have a great time together tomorrow. Plus, she is watching the girls so I can escape for the night to the GTG (John is in the midst of a lot of work projects and is working all weekend.)- Remodeling on my family room is almost done- painting is happening as I type, and hopefully by Sunday we can move all the furniture back into the family room (and get it out of the living room!)- John said we can start planning the remodel of the basement to start when the wedding is over!!!!! (The remodel has to be done if we ever want to add another child to the mix *wink*) I *think* that John's dad and uncle are "giving" us the remodel as a Chrismtas/wedding present. I am so excited to have a place for the girls to play and to have a real laundry room! What are you thankful for today?

I had the swine flu in June (caught it from a patient, thankyouverymuch!) I thought I might die. My mom was ready to fly out from Chicago because I sounded that bad on the phone. BUT! You should feel better in a few days!

OK, I'll join in too! -I'm thankful that my HM is in exactly 13 days! -My husband will have his hand cast off before our Honeymoon. He had a major accident a few weeks ago which was scary but is getting better. We just found out that the cast will be off two days before our HM! -I have a three days weekend (aww, thanks Columbus Day!)! I have to work tongiht and tomorrow at my other job but then have a bunch of fun things for the rest of the weekend like the GTG and a wedding on Sunday. -I'm thanksful for getting to know new friends a little better, even if her husband thinks that we're just "internet friends" (haha, Sara!) <<side eye)

When I had it in June, I was on tylenol and advil around the clock, nausea/vomitting everything I ate, body ache, couldn't think clearly... the whole nine yards. I couldn't get off the couch- I was so weak and dizzy and SORE! John is an internal medicine doc and he almost made me go into the hospital, so you know I must have looked awful:) Thankfully, the John and the kids stayed away and did not catch it from me. I am so NOT excited about this winter. I bet it is going to be crazy with the swine flu (and regular flu, since no one is getting their flu shots!) and my unit will be insane all winter. Gah. We are out of masks for the staff to wear, and now we have to wear these stupid duckbill ones... Not looking forward to the next 6 months!

FI is sick too.... I hope I don't catch it and I also hope he gets better before the wedding and HM (9 and 11 days away) I'm thankful that it's Friday and my work week is almost over. I'm also thankful that My Bachelorette Dinner is tomorrow and my girls are going to be there!!
