2 weeks....a tad stressed

Ok, so the wedding is two weeks from today and we leave in 9 days.  My dress still isn't done and I don't know when the final fitting will be (she will "call me").  I had a shoetastrophy and now I need to find new shoes the exact height as my old ones which shouldn't be a problem, right?  Except I can never find my size and it took forever for me to find these anyway.  My FI, despite asking for the last 3 months, still has not done the music for the reception.  Are you kidding me?  And finally, the printer "forgot" about my placecards.And if that wasn't enough, they just fired my boss and we're in the middle of a trial so I was second chair, but now I'm first chair which means I'll be working 12-14 hour days until next Weds.  Great.At this point I just want to forget about all of it!Sorry, had to vent...I'm a little stressed out :-)

    Okay deep breathe and just say to yourself it's going to be okay.  As long as fi is there the day of your wedding everything else doesn't matter.  He'll love you in a potato sack :o) It will all come together!

    Sounds like it's going to be a busy 2 weeks. Only good thing is - those 2 weeks will fly by and you'll soon be a MRS. Just breathe. Is there anything us DW gals can help with? I know a bunch of girls recently did their play list. Maybe you can "borrow" theirs as a starting point for yours? I'm sure everything will work out just fine! Good luck with everything!

    Wow, that really is a lot going on!!!  As far as the shoes and dress - hang in there and :::: vibes :::  that the dress will be finished.  You probably don't need shoes at the "exact" height - a little bit of swag is fine and no one will even notice 1/2 an inch. As far as the place cards - don't stress over those - if worse comes to worse, people can seat themselves.  Yeah, ideally you'd like to have it done, but don't let it ruin your day if they don't get done.Music - I agree with pp - there are a lot knotties with playlists.  Feel free to use mine as a starting point or take the whole thing if you want.  With some basic ideas, it really only takes two or so hours to put it together if you have a list created.Sorry you're so stressed - it will work out!!!!

    I'm sorry..I know how you feel. I'm very stressed too. I guess we should GTG and go out for drinks some time soon :-)

    Ok...deep breath.  Sorry, now I feel like a cry baby.  I think I just woke up this morning feeling a tad overwhelmed.Right..everything will work out!Thanks, ladies.
