I'm struggling on what color/types of flowers to go with for my wedding. My wedding is in July, and the ceremony is outdoors. My colors are black and champagne. I like more of a subdued look. I don't bright orange or hot pink. Any suggestions?     Since you want simple... somthing really subdued with brownish or purplish cream colored roses might look nice... google image amnesia roses, quicksand roses, metalina roses. Something like this, maybe? http://tinyurl.com/y8ujbzp

    Do you have a florist? If so you should tell them what you wrote here and see what they come up with (they are the professionals after all). That's what I did. I told them my flowers I wanted and the look I was going for (soft, not bright) and they did the rest. It was perfect.

    Thanks for the ideas, I actually saved both of those bouquets on my computer so I can keep them in mind. I actually have a florist, but it is my FI's grandma. She has been a florist for 35 years. I think she is a little nervous to suggest anything because she wants them to be perfect for me. She doesn't want me to be unhappy with any decisions she makes. I'll show her some of these pics though, to give her some ideas.

    Red roses also go really nicely with black and champagne. And I think they would look beautiful with the bridesmaid dresses too.
