LIMO... and such...

Hey guys!I am looking into limos for my bridal party and any advice/suggestions would be fantastic! My fiance and I are going to travel from the church to the reception in a 69 Cadillac driven by his friend ( old school, but i think it is so cool! ) So the limo would be just for the bridesmaids to get form my house to the church, then the bridal party from the church to the reception.  Problem is (money as always) that we have 14 total in a bridal party (16 including flower girl and ring bearer.) The cost bumps up so much for three hours when you have to go to some sort of SUV rather than a limo.  SO I guess my questions are:1. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good limo/transportation provider?OR2. Any opinions on if it Would be acceptable to not have transportation for the bridal party.  Most, if not all of the bridal party is staying at the hotel we have rooms booked for and are arranging for a shuttle to and from reception for hotel guests. My other concern is me getting into a regular sized car with a big fancy puffy dress on to get to the ceremony.  Anyone ever hear of a limo place that will rent a limo for an hour? That would be fantastic but I am having a hard time finding someone.Sorry so long and jumbled of a post! (and the randomness of my posts!)Thanks everyone for taking time to read this! I hope everyone is having a great and relaxing weekend!

Look into Buker. With my venue package, I got a limo for 3 hours for free, which I used to go from the hotel to the venue. When I was dealing with Buker, I asked (not thinking it would be in my budget because of time minimums) about a return trip, and they were very reasonable! I think they charged me about $50. for the second trip, which was worth not having my bridal party/family wait for another shuttle... As for your second question, I was in a wedding where she arrainged for a limo to get there, so pictures couls be done, but we were on our own to get home... Worked out ok, but definately get your girls there so your pics can be done.

Thanks! I will definitely look into Burker!  Well, my finance will, I am putting him in charge of that. :-)

Ditto Buker, I just used them for my bachelorette party. For our wedding we're using Escort Limos:www.escort-limos.com302.571.0562I feel like I called ALL of the limos companies in Northern DE and they gave me the best price for what I needed.

We used Buker for our shuttle service at the end of the night and they were reasonable.  However, we have the driver a check the night of and that same day they charged our CC account after I called earlier in the week to confirm a check out be fine. It was a tad irritating, but I work for the bank that the cashier's check was drawn on and was able to cancel it right away instead of waiting a time period. We used Prime Time Limo's and they were wonderful.  We had the limo all night and we paid $650 (I think).  The driver was great.  We dealt with Dawn and she was also very nice.  Check them out.  As far as everyone getting home we rented 2 shuttles (one from our hotel, the Hilton, and the other from Buker).  MY DH and I went home in the limo alone.  I have not heard of a company renting a limo for one hour.  Most have the 3 hour minimum.
