B&B recommendations?

Fi and I wont be taking a honeymoon for.. well. probably a good year and half after our wedding. but we do want to take a little minimoon.  Were tossing around the idea of staying at a B&B somewhere that we can go hiking, get some good eattin, and some good lovin ;-) haha had to throw that in there.  So, any B&B recommendations? Anywhere within a.... 8 hour drive.

This is not a "B&B" but my FI and I try to take a fall or winter trip once or twice a year to Congress Hall in New Jersey. It is a jaw dropping gorgeous hotel! You feel like you are in a different world. During the off season they have many specials that are very reasonable. Going to the beach during the off season is fantastic. You get a different perspective. Get an ocean view room and you never want to leave it. It is soooooo romantic! It's usually pretty quiet and the drive is fairly relaxing. www.congresshall.com

You can not go wrong with Vermont at that time of year! The leaves changes pretty early so you might be able to catch a glimpse of the beginning stages of the foliage. My MOH went to VT when she got married and only had glowing reviews for everything Vermont. There is a lot to see and do there to make a great mini-moon!

*I'm sorry I just double checked your wedding date. For some reason I thought you were getting married in August. But October is a even  more perfect time to visit VT. And you probably could get a really good deal because it isn't tourist season.

John and I were just down in Annapolis for our "Not-a-moon." I fell in love with Annapolis and adored our B&B. The food was amazing, the area was perfect for some outdoor activities or inside lounging, and the bed was soooooooooo comfortable! I cannot recommend it highly enough!http://www.theannapolisfarmhousebandb.com/index.htmlWe stayed in the King room, which does not have an in-suite bath, but had the bathroom to ourselves. Other rooms do have an in-suite bath.GL!
