Bridal Shops in Columbus

Does anyone have Columbus bridal shop recommendations besides Wendy's and David's Bridal?  I don't want to spend more than $1,000 and am hoping to find a simple mermaid style dress.  I found one at David's that I really like but would like to try on some similar gowns so I know for sure.  Wendy's didn't have anything similar. : (Thanks for your help!

    Alan Ray, Perfect Weddings, Wedding Plantation, and there is a place that starts with a T in Sunbury.

    Like pp said, read the thread from last week. I recommend Alan Ray Bridal in Dublin, they have a great selection and a very personal experience.

    I tried on a couple of mermaid dresses at Girls in White Dresses in the Arena district. I remember them being around 1,000 dollars. I didn't get my dress there, but the mermaids that I tried on were really pretty!

    Trumpington Bridal House in Sunbury! That's where I got mine. Kathy is great and I got a great deal. She has a great selection and great prices especially for being a boutique. Good Luck and have fun!

    I definitely recommend Alan Ray Bridal in Dublin.  They were absolutely wonderful!  I got my dress on sale, it was slightly over what you said you are willing to spend, but check to see if they have any more sales coming up.  Do make an appt though if you plan on trying dresses on.  And allow enough time before your wedding if you go designer b/c mine will take 6-8 months, ordered it in July of this year and am getting married June 2010.  Good Luck!
