Recommendations for Bridal Shops?

Hi ladies, Can anyone recommend any good bridal shops for my gown and my bridesmaids dresses? I am trying to keep the cost below $200 for my bridesmaids and below $1,500 for my gown. Mon Amie seems to be popular, however I have read some severally horrible reviews about them. Has anyone had personal experiences with them? Paradise Creations in San Clemente is another place that I have heard about, but was wondering if anyone has any info on them? Please feel free to suggest other places, as I am new to the OC and trying to plan my wedding here. Thanks for your help!!!

My BM's are ordering their dresses from Aria Dress (ariadress.com). We went up to their Pasadena showroom and were really impressed with everything. The showroom was quaint, the service was personal, and the dresses were fantastic. The styles looked good on both small and large body styles and the prices for even the most expensive fabric still falls at the $200 range. I know everyone says "you can wear the dress again" and never does. If ordered in the right fabrics, these really COULD be worn again. I'm ordering a dress from them to have for cocktail parties because I liked one of the dresses so much. I can't speak for any of the other places, but I've heard good things about the place in San Clemente. Be prepared: I've heard it is a physically small facility with a huge selection.

I agree with the Mariposa boutique suggestion. I got my dress there and they were great! However, I heard that their seamstress is rude and over priced so I went to Mahtab for my bustle.

try Lifetime wedding and events. I've got my dress there...it was off the rack, but it was one of a kind and in a good shape. Plus since it's off the rack, I got 50% off plus another 10% off since I bought it that same day. They also have a really good selection for BM dresses and you can order in different colors; they will also give you a discount on that as well. Just try them, one of my girlfriends got hers there as well and it was very unique as well. Good luck! Jinny's Bridal in HB has cute things. My BM are getting their dresses at the HB Alfred Angelo...you can see the pics of the dresses I am considering from there on my bio if curious.

I purchased my gown at Mariposa Boutique in Anaheim.  The girls there are amazing!  So super helpful.  They were busy and didn't rush me while I tried on dress after dress after dress after dress haha.My BM's dresses are being made from a seamstress who made my prom dress and bm dresses for my brothers wedding, she is only charging 160 and the dresses have a lot of detail. But for your gown I definitely recommend Mariposa! =]
