VENUE HELP!

We are having trouble finding the right venue.My fiance and I have looked at a few and one we are very interested in is the Marriott BUT it's a bit pricey and since my sister offered to pay for this we don't want to give her a huge bill.SO does if you can suggest a good venue it would help tremendously!THANKS!!!!!!!1

    Yeah, without knowing your price point it's hard to make suggestions. If you're looking within the Chicago area I would suggest picking up a Chicago Brides magazine. There's a section in the mag that has a ton of venues and their price points. It will give you a starting off point.

    Are you referring to the Marriott downtown on Michigan Ave? We are getting married there next weekend. We talked to them and did some negotiations and ended up getting a pretty good deal especially considering the amount of Marriott points we are getting!

    Budget wise the Marriott price is very close to $10,000, so I would NOT go any higher than that.
