Wedding Review: Dresses: David’s Bridal Middletown A+ I went in with some pics and the sales associate took all of my favorite things and found me a dress that incorporated everything. They were so nice and professional—I had a great experience with them and would highly recommend them. Alterations: Mirabel Alterations, Washingtonville, NY A++ By the time I dropped of my dress in June I had lost 25lbs and my dress needed serious alterations. When I went back a month later the dress fit like a glove! She worked wonders on that dress, and I got so many compliments and it was beautiful. The price was amazing for all the work she did—I highly recommend Mirabel. Flowers: Lily of the Valley, Highland Falls, NY A++ A great little family owned business here in Highland Falls. They have great service and prices. When I saw the flowers the day of the wedding they made me so happy—they were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Reception: Anthony’s Pier 9, New Windsor, NY A++++++++ From the day we walked into check this place out we were in love. Dana and Wanda were absolutely amazing and so accommodating from the first day. Wanda was quick to respond to any emails or phone calls I made to her, she made us feel like we were her #1 priority. They gave us anything and everything we could have ever wanted—upgraded us and worked so hard to make our day beautiful. On our wedding day we had two fabulous maitre d’s and they were amazing—anything we needed they were right by our sides. The cocktail room and reception room were better than I could have ever dreamt of—it was like a fairy tale. Anthony’s Pier 9 made our dreams come true, and we are so grateful for them and their services. Burte’s Limo; Middlehope, NY A+ They were super early and our driver Dominick was awesome and friendly and helpful. The limo was gorgeous and the bar was stocked, plus the price was just right! DJ: Surround Sound DJs, Bill Beale A++++ I knew I wanted Bill to be our DJ, but at first it was hard to get in contact with him, then he missed our final appointment, I got a little freaked, but on our wedding day he was PERFECT! The music was great, and everyone danced the entire time. He listened to us and gave us just what we wanted. We couldn’t have been happier with his services. Ceremony: Church of the Holy Innocents, Highland Falls, NY A+++++ A beautiful church and wonderful Pastor. She was amazing, and because of her Chris and I have never been closer. The counseling sessions really did our relationship good, she listened to us and guided us throughout this entire process and we couldn’t be happier. The church was a little pricy, but it was well worth it. Hair and Make Up: The Stylists Chair, Cornwall, NY A++++ These ladies were at work at 7am for us. This is a great group of women, so professional and friendly. Everyone looked amazing and I was more than pleased with what they did with everyone’s hair and makeup. Men’s Suits: Men’s Warehouse, Middletown, NY A++ A little annoying that they don’t take payments or measurements over the phone, so we made many trips over there. But overall they did a great job—the suits looked great—one broken tie was the only mishap. Photographer: Carrie O’Dell She’s a good friend of ours who does wedding photography on the side. I have yet to see her pics, but I know they are going to be amazing. She took over 1500 pics at our wedding and was super professional and amazing.
