I got that information today as well and was pretty bummed.  Do you know of any other hair and makeup artist reasonably priced?  Thanks a bunch!

I'm using Bobby Pins & Blush for both hair and makeup for myself and my girls. The girl that does the makeup, Kara, is great (Sandra is doing my hair, and I was really pleased with my hair trial as well). She was recommended to me by a friend of my FSIL who uses her all the time for various events. Kara also runs a skin and brow studio www.fabulousfacesstudio.com I'm not getting airbrush, but I believe she does that too. For regular makeup its $75 for the bride (includes eyelashes and a tube of whatever lipstick or gloss you're using) and $60 for bridesmaids. Kara Sanchez (407) 432-0005 kara@bobbypinsandblush.com If you contact her, feel free to tell her Cheryl Tatum recommended her.

Weird question, but what does airbrush mean? And is $75 a reasonable amount for having the Bride's makeup done?

Airbrushing is using a medium through a gun/mister so the application is misted onto your subject vs. patted/sponged/dabbed, etc.Airbrush makeup has been up and coming because the application process is easier and tends to last longer than powder or liquid foundation make up. Also, it doesn't give you as much as (in some cases, none at all) a shine. It is put into the airbrush gun and misted onto your face. You can look at Charisma's photos as she had this makeup application done for her July wedding.*Eryn* Have you contacted Meghann Davis? I can't remember if you did or not :P

For $75 I am having airbrush done with Meghann. She does offer a discount for TK girls. I think the original price is $100+.To answer your question, I would ask what type of application you're having done. If it is a powder application, you may be able to get it for a few dollars cheaper. If it's airbrush, that's a good price.

the downside of airbrush makeup is that it cannot be blended for your skin and has a tendency to make brides look washed-out.
