Los Abrigados Brides?

Are there any other brides out there getting married at Los Abrigados in Sedona? I need either reassurance that they aren't as bad as they seem, or confirmation that my frustrations with them are valid. Let me kow what kind of experience you had or are having. TIA Sarah

Los Abrigados is a beautifuel place to get married, I used to work there, and my future stepdaughter works there now. I was just there last week, with  her 4 year old son, as a matter of fact. We played on the playground, and a beautiful afternoon wedding was taking place, right where it just flooded, and you would never know. What exactly is your concern ? The location, the employees or what ?

I'm wondering what kind of experience other brides may have had with their group sales department. I'm in Sedona often, so I'm very familiar with the property and area. The group sales department has been less than impressive and there are some bad reviews on trip advisor that have me concerned. I'd love to hear from a bride that has had their wedding there and see what her experience was.

I got married at Los Abrigados this summer on the 4th of July and everything really turned out beautiful. We chose the creek side venue and all of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. The food was also amazing and Audrey (the women that helped with coordination was great). I was very happy with our choice and our pictures turned out amazing. A few issues that I had with them were things like returning emails promptly, and telling some of my guests that they were required to get the whole time share talk in order to book, but these were cleared up quickly with one phone call, which is really the best way to contact them. I also want to mention that I did all of my planning from Ohio without ever talking to them in person and they were really wonderful. I would highly recommend getting married at this location, try not to let the little things get to you, the issues you will likely encounter could happen anywhere ( :

Thanks so much for that feedback! I'd love to ask you a few more questions about your ceremony/reception i.e. how many people you had? was the fact that there is only one bathroom by the pool an issue? did it rain at all? did you have a dj? was your reception outdoors as well? If you'd like to email me direct that works too! My email is runningmango@gmail.com Sarah

SarahWe had about 90 people which was slightly less than we had originally anticipated, and they actually allowed us to make changes to the final number until about 3 days before the actual wedding. We had both the ceremony and the reception outdoors, which turned out really beautiful and also saved us some money on decoration expenses that we would have needed in the indoor venue. We had an amazing DJ that I would be happy to recommend if you need one that played music for both the ceremony and the reception. As far as the bathroom goes I actually think there is another bathroom closer to the creek but I honestly can’t remember and I didn’t hear any complaints about it so I am guessing there was no problem with it. We did get a tiny sprinkle of rain for about a minute but had no other weather related problems. The trees really offer a very nice shade from the heat and we also made bottled water and fans available to our guests. Please let me know if you have any other questions.Syn

Hello-my sister got married at Los Abrigados in Sedona last fall and everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect.  But she also camplained a little about the customer service (mainly the whole returning phone calls thing) and some last minute prep that the staff was doing on her actual wedding day.  She brought in her own jazz band, photographer and videographer from Phoenix, are you doing the same, or are they providing everything for you in one, all-inclusive package?
