VERY inexpensive videographer!

Hi ladies,I keep going back and forth about a videographer and decided that I think I would like to have one. I do not want to regret it later! With this in mind, I also want to find someone who is very reasonably priced. I do not need anything fancy, or even edited, I just need someone who can help us capture the day in case we are going so fast we miss stuff. = )Any suggestions? Thanks,Julie

We didn't want a viedographer either.... however a day before the wedding a friend of ours (his wife was in the wedding party so he was at all prewedding and wedding events) taped our entire weekend...Rehersal dinner all the way to the end of the Reception. We have enjoyed our little viedo so much we are so glad someone did that for us.  Yes it is not professional, but I think it is way better that way!  My advice to you ask all your friends if they have a camcorder or rent one and have a friend tape it!  You do miss things the day goes by sooooo fast.  you will enjoy watching it all later!

My mom's boyfriend does video editing for a major commercial company and does wedding videos on the side, because of this his costs are very reasonable. If you're interested, email me at mattmandihulsingwedding at gmail and I'll forward your info to him

I wanted a video without paying a videographer.  So I decided to set up video cameras and just tape the ceremony and reception.  Im not sure how well it's going to work, but having something is what I'm most worried about.  HTH

We used Memories Through Time for both our photos and video. Here is a link to our sneak peak of the video. Our full video should be done by next week. They are amazing to work with and great prices! http://tinyurl.com/km8m5z

My fiance has no interest in a video so he pretty much limited me to about a $1000 budget for a videographer. I am still making my final decision but, because I was really only looking for something very basic I found 3 that were able to accommodate - i2i media, Media Created 4u and tiramisu studios. I haven't made a decision and am waiting to hear if my photographer has an opinion on any of these, but I would suggest checking them out!

unfortunately, my photographer doesn't have a preferred videographer yet. I am looking at samples of their work this weekend though so I can let you know who I ultimately go with.

I have an update on videography :) after reading the post from The Future Mrs Fowler about her wedding I called Mike with Memories Through Time and he not only has amazing work but he is honestly the most inexpensive videographer I talked to and includes the most in his packages. I am signing my contract with him this afternoon :) Good luck to everyone else!

I went with Tiramisu Studios - new company, simple, straightforward and the best price I could find on both photo and video - website is:www.tiramisustudios.com
