Ha ha ha Now that I have read the first two posts I wanted to reintroduce myself! My name Is Jenelle Candidi, my fiance is Alex Clarke. Our story is a long one since it started so long ago. So I'll start off with the basics and go on to our meeting and engagement. My favorite icecream is bryers strawberry lol I have a going on 4 year old 10 pound Chihuahua/Miniature Daschund mix. I love to take nights out on the town, love nature and outdoors. My most favorits things are sharks. I was born and raised in philadelphia and moved to Delaware with my parents when my dad decided he wanted a yard for my little brother to play in. I started attending 6th grade of Middle school at Conrad and quickly noticed a cute boy in the back of the bus. I wispered one day to my best friend who sat next to me look at him he's cute. So that day and everyday there after she would yell "ALEX, JENELLE THINKS YOUR CUTE!" Ha ha after about a month of hearing that he started giving me the dirtiest looks. That year he graduated and moved on to highschool. Two years later to my happy surprise I found out he chose to go to Mckean, same as me. I was a freshman he was a junior. That year went by without him talking to me. The next year we were in choir together. He though on the first day of school that i was the coolest thing ever. Why? Because I convinced my parents to sign a paper saying I was 16 to get my eyebrow pierced. The day before I had just turned 14. Lol me and my rebel parents. So that year went by quickley I watched him date a raunchy girl. yuck. I could have killed her. Well that year he graduated. Buuuut we worked at K-mart of centerville road when it existed. It was nothing great just lil convos and such. Than I didn't see him for 5 years. November of 2008 I was walking to my job in the mall. Thats right I work at the tuxedo store inside the christiana mall! I was walking in with a bag of food and two jugs of water. (I was dieting for the military) ans bumped into someone. I glanced quickly and said sorry and kept walking. In 5 seconds five thousand thoughs went through my head. (was that alex, should I turn around and say hi, what if that wasn't him, ill feel dumb) I turned around at the same second he did. It was him, ALEX. He works for ups and was delivering at the mall. I knew he was busy and told him before he left the mall to stop by and get my card with my number so we could catch up. Needless to say... He didn't. What I didn't know is that he was on rebound with a different girl who worked at the mall trying to get over the 4 year relationship that he now says sucked life. Three months later I received a message on myspace asking if I wanted his number to talk and catch up. We exchanged numbers and I instantly started texting him. We made a date for the next day February 13th at 12 pm. Buuuut at 11am my mom called me from work telling me I needed to take her to the hospital that she couldn't breath. UUUUGGGG maa you have got to be kidding me!!! lol so when I went to pick her up from work she was laughing with co workers... (God mom how can you not breaht and laugh at the same time) So I took her to the hospital sat there for 3 hours with a dead phone worring that he wouldn't talk to me because I didn't tell him how long I was going to be and it was HOURS! 4pm we finally got to meet up at Panera bread at 4:30. Over three hours and one cup of black coffee each we spilled our lives to each other and decided to meet up him and his friends me and and my friends at kildares in newark. We danced the night away. Four days later he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said no... he said "ok ok ok thats ok". I started giggeling and said "yes yes of corse." And the rest was history... till August 21st... We were in Maine visiting family that he has not seen since he was 5 years old. He seemed a extra nerve wrecked this day. We drove to new hampshire to Mt. Washington. I was in the gift shop and he franticly shouted "stay here" and ran outside. I looked at the clerk ringing me up she looked at me we both shrugged and dismissed it. About ten minutes later when I was tired of waiting I walked outside. I saw him by a truck talking to some lady and my camera was in her hand. Now I'm thinking "Jeeze does he REALLY have to run into someone he knows EVERYWHERE, 400 miles from home." I walked out and he ran over to me grabbed me and walked me over to this lady saying "god my hear is beating out of my chest" ... I though he was going to introduce me. He turned my back to the mountain and I saw the lady with the camera and he pulled a box out of his pocket said " you know I love you right, I want to be with you for the rest of my life" he bent down on one knee and said " will you marry me" This time I couldn't say no jokingly. All I could was cover my mouth in shock and say yes. It was one of the most awesome moments in my life. But, I can't forget to mention how he reminded me of an infomercial "but wait theres more" and pulled champagne, cheeses, pepperoni, chocolates, and beer. ha ha ha he did the undoable... hiding stuff from me and surprising me.
