Hey girls, I was married on 10/10 and thought I'd share some of my experience. Ceremony/Reception: (A) The Fountains Ballroom. They were amazing! There were a few little details that I was unsure of going into it, but the wedding turned out so well and they took care of everything I could possibly think of. Because it snowed that day they moved everything inside and were completely organized about it. DJ: (A-) Complete Music.I was annoyed at first that they changed our DJ last minute (typical I hear) without even telling us, but the girl they gave us called me and made sure everything was correct. Then the day of the wedding she got sick and they called in another DJ. Normally this would have been pretty irritating but they made sure this new DJ had all the info necessary and he was excellent! Dane with Complete gets an A+++ Ceremony musicians: (A) CT & Carmen ThongklinThis couple knows how to play at a wedding! They were so nice and accomodating to let us listen to them play and pick the right pieces. So sweet and we got soo many compliments on the music. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.Dress/BM dresses: (C) Cherokee, IA I know this is out of town for everyone but I just thought I'd share. In the end they got everything done in time but it was quite a hassle dealing with them. Flowers: (A-) Linda Powers, Tabor Floral. She did well with my bouquet (even though I noticed there were no hydrangaes like we talked about). It was really heavy and I think too big for me but it was gorgeous! Definitely got my money's worth and she is super helpful and friendly. Catering/Cake: (A+) Hy-Vee on Madison Ave, CBAmazing. We did the pasta bar and it was to die for. Cake was amazing, everything was perfect. I have nothing bad to say about them! That's all I can think of right now... I used a few vendors from where I live now so I might be missing quite a few on here. Any questions, just ask!
