Alteration Recommendations?

Hi!  I got my dress at the Yolanda's GOB Sale months ago, and now it's time to start searching for a tailor -- Bigtime.

I'd like to go to an independent shop that comes highly recommended.  Suggestions?

Thanks!

Chris O'Hare is in Quincy and Faye Carraher is in Billerica. Both come very highly recommended on the board.

Do you think it is less expensive to do alterations through an independent seamstress or the store you bought it at?  Just curious.

Also, how do you contact Faye?  I googled her but no website/info.

I also highly recommend Chris O'Hare in Quincy.  She does great work and her prices are extremely reasonable.  I don't have her number handy, but I just googled Chris O'Hare Quincy and got 617.471.7366  which sounds right to me

For my sisters wedding last year all of us used Michael the Tailor, I cannot find his number but, its in Framingham on Rt. 9. He was great.
