The bf did it again

I found out to day there is a surprise party for my XSIL, you all know we are very close, next Saturday. One of my friends mentioned it. Well I never heard about the party until today and I bought Phillies tickets for my family for that day. I text my XBIL and told him that I just heard about the party and I can't make it. He said, I couldn't text everyone because I didn't want the texts to be seen by her so I told "K (my best friend)" to tell you on Memorial day......What that was 3 weeks ago. I told him that she did not tell me. I then txt her asking if she knew about the party. She said "ya it is at Bobby's house, I'm sure your invited". I said "why didn't you mention it to me, nobody said anything". She said "he (her husband) just starting telling everyone a couple weeks ago".........she's still not fessing up that she was told to tell me. Finally I said "well he said he told you to tell me 3 weeks ago and you never did". She said "holy sh*t then I gues it's all my fault that I didn't tell you". Um sarcastic??

    Why is it so hard for people to just admit that they made a mistake and apologize for it? So annoying and frustrating!!!

    so it's not enough that she's trying to exclude you from events with your friends...she wants to be sarcastic about it too?!?!

    I used to have a best friend that would use sarcasm to try and get away with saying anything she wanted - hurtful or not. I can`t stand people like that, say what you mean or don`t say anything at all!

    Yeh, I've had the same experience in the past, and although I still call that person a friend, i unfortunately will never trust her the way one should a best friend. Hopefully in time she'll realize what she's doing, and that nothing good can come of it (unlike my situation)... And if not, then you'll be forced to face the reality I did. I'd say talk to her about it, but sadly people like that don't usually think they're doing anything wrong! Sad! On another note, I'm sure your xsil will understand completely and the two of you can plan a day out together!

    I agree with Kimmy & Cathy! I had to let one of my so called BF's go recently for the exact reason Kimmy stated above. She hurt me too many times to count, and no matter what I did (including bending over backwards for her), I still wasn't a good enough friend to her especially when she wasn't asked to be MOH. No true friend should be malicious/sneaky/or hurtful.   You deserve so much better than that!!
