Are you wearing a bra?

I was talking to my friend who just got married and she said she didn't wear a bra on her wedding day. She said that the dress would be tight enough on top that you won't need a bra.What do you girls think? Do you plan to wear a bra? I have my 1st fitting next month and am supposed to have the undergarments ready for the fitting. I dont know if I should buy one now or just go bra-less. I'd prefer a bit more padding/gel inserts if possible to make me look a little bigger....i just dont want to worry about my bra showing/inserts falling out the day of!

I didn't wear one. I did have padded cups sewn into my dress to give me a little shape though. I think also depends on how big your boobs are, I'm a 32a so I don't need much but I don't think girls with c's or larger could go with the no bra option because the sewn in cups offer no support.

It really depends on [a] the style of your dress [corset-back or zip/button-up?] and [b] the shape and general look of your boobs.If you have a corset-style back, generally that's sufficient support to go without a bra, so long as your breasts aren't too far apart or too saggy. I know my dress provides excellent support for me, even though I'm quite large-breasted. If you have a dress with a zip-up or button-up dress, I'd recommend getting something additional, just in case.

I am not wearing a bra. I am having cups sewn into my dress. You can get padded cups sewn in if you need a little oomph--my A-cup sister did this and she had a little cleavage.

No bra... I'm getting cups sewn in mine too... But I'm a little underprivileged in that area... so for once, that helps.

I wore a longline bra/ bustier. i'm a 32DD so i needed the support. it really depends on the dress and your bra size. corset back dresses are really supportive since you can cinch and cinch until you can't breathe anymore- so most often, girls who aren't bigger than a C end up getting cups sewn in and going natural. but if the dress is zip or button back it's harder to get it skin tight up there so that you wouldn't need a bra.

I will definitely be wearing a bra. I've had a reduction surgery already once but I'm still not that comfortable without a bra. On the plus side when you have that surgery you get an automatic lift....

i have 2 dresses. with my ceremony dress it needs a bra or im pretty much falling out. with my reception dress it is stiff/supportive enough that i will go braless.

My dress is low in the back. To low for any kind of bra. So I had cups put in. my dress isnt real tight in that area so i really needed something. I am size C so my bridal shop had cups up to C. Also they get them out for you and let you place them in so you would be able to tell if they work or not. I have no idea what a larger chested girl would do with a dress with a low back. I guess maybe pasties... not sure how those work though. Some dresses come with support already built in too.

I'm a 34b, and I'm not wearing a regular bra. I hate wearing a bra, but I wanted some extra oomph so I got cups sewn it and I'm wearing a NuBra. It creates the extra oomph I wanted, and the NuBra sticks really well...you just have to make sure your chest is completely clean and dry - no lotion. Good luck!

I'm a 34B and I'm wearing a longline bra under mine ... it worked out cheaper for me to invest in the bra than to sew the cups into my dress. My dress actually looks ok on me without anything ... but the extra "oomph" the bra gives me makes it look so much better.

I absolutely am wearing a bra. I'm a 32DD and the girls would be down at my knees I just had cups sewn in. I wish I could get away with no bra because there are some beautiful backless gowns out there.

Im a 38D and I don't need to wear a bra because my dress is a corset back and the way it is shaped it holds my boobs up and in place perfectly... so like everyone said it depends on you and the dress.
